Letter from the SECRETARY-GENERAL
Dear Delegates and Esteemed Faculty Members,
I am hereby honored to extend to you an invitation to the very first Edition of the Delhi Public School Ranipur, Model United Nations Conference (2024).
An event much awaited by all owing to the sheer transformative ability of MUNs in the academic sphere to equip the youth with tools for collective betterment, DPSMUN in particular provides to be the very epitome of exemplification of the core values of bureaucracy, diplomacy and deliberation. All of these serve to be the saving graces in a world with progress so rapid and inconsiderate that humanity is nearly severed from the concept of development.

Structured in a way so that it is not merely a conference with procedure, DPSMUN is a platform for expression, for leadership, for decisions of implementation, for variety and to be united in it all. It is an environment cultured within diverse walls by the students of this prestigious institution, fostering an aura of intellectual inquiry, global citizenship, and compassionate leadership.

I declare with immense confidence and enthusiasm that DPSMUN shall be a learning experience for all, as it has been for me. Having worked meticulously with my incredible Organising Committee over the course of the last few months, I have come to realize- DPSMUN is not merely a conglomeration of great minds deliberating at a round table hoping to reach a single viable conclusion. It is an assembly of spirit and of soul hoping to bear rightfully the torch of change through the sparks in their young eyes.
An event which contemplates on fundamentals for the future in terms of sustainable development, the First Edition of DPSMUN plans to sustain this very spirit through a series of questions that can be answered wisely only upon achieving mastery in the arts of consideration, research and deliberation. At DPSMUN, we recognise- Our Land, Our Future, and we restore what has been ruined.
As footsteps echo amongst the corridors of DPS Ranipur, the students stand proud on their promise to provide the delegates with a spirited and intellectual debating experience like never before. And so, as said by the beloved Prof. Sadashiv Bhagat within these very walls which shall now bear the exhilarated atmosphere of DPSMUN, “With light in hand and light in head, we blaze towards the Earth’s darkest end.”
Let us embark on a path of peaceful collaboration.
I thus extend to you my sincere invitation to this conference within limited confines, but with implications limitless- on nations, on action, and on minds.
